I will be showing my work this weekend in the cool of the mountains. The show is in an alpine setting, in a small park in downtown Winter Park, just past the post office, on Highway 40, as you are going through town. The Winter Park Jazz Festival is also going on–what a great weekend to enjoy music & art. The town is hopping people and events. I have new work in bronze and silver.
As summer flies by, I realize how I keep myself busy, little time to smell the flowers. I taught 2 weeks of summer art camps for kids–we had a lot of fun, cooking, and making clay creatures one week. The second week, we made jewelry and lots of art. On top of that, we attended two weddings, and I sold my work in Boulder at the Boulder Festival of the Arts on 29th Street. June was a crazy month! And with the Denver weather this summer, we had torrential rains and now it’s in the upper 90’s. School will be back in session in less than a month, so my teenager and I will be back on an early morning schedule. Whew!
