Wow!  I’ve been back from Tucson for 2 weeks, we met with the tax man, I am categorising the things I bought, and designing again, finally!  What a cold week in Tucson–I know, it was colder everywhere else in the country, but in Tucson they had some of the coldest weather on record.  Pipes were freezing, gas lines broke, people were cold!  The Gem Show venues which took place in large event tents were especially cold, when the propane tanks that were blowing heat into the tents ran out.  One afternoon, I went to Tucson Electric Park, and all the small tents outside were buttoned up.  It finally warmed up by Super Bowl Sunday, my last day there.  That day, Tucson Electric was alive & bustling with people, and it was fun shopping for tools, etc.

We eat Mexican food every night (just about) while we are in Tucson.  Our favorites include:  Taqueria Pico de Gallo, Mariscos Chihuahua, Mi Nidito, Maya Quetzal, Teresa’s Mosaic Cafe, and of course, Cafe Poca Cosa.  I can’t say I do this nightly in Denver, but Tucson has lots of amazing south of the border restaurants!

The last photo is from my friends at Mazet Studios in Oregon, brothers, Josh, Eli & Timothy, who make amazing glass art.  Check them out!
