I am also participating by selling my jewelry, this Sunday evening, in the 2nd Sip n Shop which helps kids with special needs.  The link takes you to the invitation.  It’s an evening of sipping wine & great food, and some shopping too.  The donation is $40.00, for a really great cause.  Be sure & R.S.V.P. if you plan to attend.  After this weekend, I have a few more shows, Sunday November 22 at a friend’s house, 1st Friday December 4th at a gallery, and my home show, December 5 & 6.  I’ll post details as it gets closer.

The Broken Man charm

This Friday, November 13th, I will be selling my jewels at Craig Hospital from 7 am – 3:30 pm.  The vendors will be donating proceeds to the Craig Hospital Foundation.  I’ve been involved in Craig for as long as I’ve known my husband, who has been working there for over 30 years.  A few years ago, the gentleman who was making the Broken Man charms for the gift shop at Craig could not make them any longer.  Les suggested I make them.  I began by making each one by hand with metal clay, and later was able to cast them from sterling silver.  Makes my job a lot easier!  Anyway, the sale is at 3425 So Clarkson, in the main gym.

We are featuring jewelry this year!

For the first time, the Guild decided we can sell jewelry in our bi-annual sale.  I am featuring metal clay jewelry, fine silver, bronze and a few copper pieces.  So far, it has been well received!  Two other potters have ceramic pieces in the show.  I also have some stoneware, olive dishes with an area for the pitts, and some small salt bowls with spoons.  Stop by & shop!
